Okay, so the pilots have been shot, and now it's time to start reporting which shows will make it onto the network's Fall schedules. Here the TVadviceguy.com staff will report the shows that have been ordered, the shows we hear might be ordered, and whatever the hell else we feel like telling you!
Sometimes we break news before everybody else! Sometimes we are the last to report this stuff. Deal with it! And awayyyyyy we go:
5/12/06
* FOX has ordered "The Wedding Album" to series. It's about a wedding photographer and the weddings he photographs. Are you asleep yet?
* I swear I heard this, so I'm going to report it... "7th Heaven" will be on Monday nights for The CW. If this is true, that's pretty crazy since they supposedly just had their Series Finale. But, it looks like an 11th season for "7th Heaven."
* "Girlfreinds" should make it on to the CW schedule this fall I hear, as well.
5/11/06
* We hear that FOX has picked up the sitcom "The Winner," previously known as "Becoming Glenn." This script was given praise from TVadviceguy so it should come as no surprise...
* This may be old news, but whatever. NBC appears to be adding "The Singles Table" to their lineup this Fall.
5/10/06
* The word on the street is that ABC has picked up the Ted Danson sitcom "Help Me Help You." Well, okay, I don't know if anybody is actually out on the sreet talking about this, but we heard it's pretty much official!
* Some more ABC sitcom pilot news comes in the form of a pick up for "Notes from the Underbelly." Note to ABC: That's a terrible title for a TV show. Regardless, it looks like it's a pickup...
* Now onto the ABC drama department, it would appear it's a green light for "The Nine" Starring Scott Wolf. Looks like ABC wants to get a vehicle for all the "Party of Five" stars!
* Let's see, what else... the heavily hyped "In Case of Emergency" is said to look like a pick-up, which I guess is no suprise.
* J.J. Abram's new pilot "Six Degrees" looks like a pick-up. But why wouldn't it? ABC loves this guy.
* And another ABC drama, "Day Break" also appears to be looking good for a series order.
* Enough with the pick ups, we hear there are some shows that are officially "dead." The NBC pilot "Andy Barker P.I." starring Andy Richter and produced by Conan O' Brien has apparently been passed up. Which should come as no suprise since TAG reviewed the script himself and gave it a "PASS."
* Another No-Go is the "Untitled Jace Richdale/Kevin Brennan Project" which I had heard was a clunker anyway, so I guess NBC made the right choice.
* Finally, the ABC single camera comedy "Pink Collar" has evidently been given a Red Light. Better luck next season Alicia Silverstone.
5/9/06
* Looks like NBC's "UNTITLED TINA FEY PROJECT" has been picked up. Interesting, since the very similar "Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip" has also been picked up. But hey, we just report what we hear, and we hear Tina Fey's project, with Alec Baldwin on board, has been picked up.
* We also hear that NBC has picked up the John Lithgow/Jeffrey Tambor sitcom "20 Good Years." It's also been reported that this show is pretty damn funny. So I guess we'll see come fall...
5/5/06
* FOX has ordered 13 episodes of the drama "Primary." The show is about two hostage negotiators who are attracted to each other. It stars Ron Livingston.
* FOX has also committed to 13 episodes of the leagl drama "American Crime." About an L.A. law firm that handles high profile cases, such as celebrity cases.
* We hear the Wayne Brady sitcom "FLiRT" looks like it has a pretty decent shot to land on the CW schedule.
* It's already been reported elsewhere, but we'll post it too, NBC's "Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip" has been granted a 13 episode order. From Aaron Sorkin, it's a behind the scenes look at a "Saturday Night Live" type comedy show. Stars Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet, Timothy Busfield, Steven Weber and D.L. Hughley.
That's it for now. Stay Tuned...
